Cordon Bleu



  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground dark-colored pepper
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices cooked ham
  • 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 7×11 half inch baking dish with quality cooking spray.
    2. Pound chicken bust to 1/4 inch thickness.
    3. Sprinkle each piece of chicken on both factors with salt and pepper.
    4. Place 1 mozzarella dairy product slice and 1 pork slice on top of each teat.
    5. Roll up each breast, together with secure with a toothpick.
    6. Place in the baking dish, and sprinkle chicken breast evenly with bread particles.
    7. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until poultry is no longer pink.
    8. Remove from range, and place 1/2 cheese slice along with each breast.
    9. Return to furnace for 3 to 5 minutes, as well as until cheese has melted.
    10. Remove toothpicks, and serve immediately.
