Birnen, Bohnen und Speck



  • 6 pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1?2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 lb . fresh green beans, broken in half
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1?2 lb bacon
  • 1?4 tumbler sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Directions

    1. Place pears in a cooking pot with warm water. Add A person tbsp lemon juice. Bring to the particular boil, reduce heat, cook for 15 minutes.
    2. While pears are cooking, cook bacon in a skillet. When crispy, remove with a plate with paper small towel and reserve bacon fat.
