  • 1 1/4 cups of sugar
  • 4 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baker’s ammonia
  • Two large fresh eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons regarding cinnamon
  • 7 ounces of butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon involving salt
  • One tablespoon of vanilla sugar
  • Directions

    1. Firstly, in a large bowl, cream the white sugar and vanilla mister with the butter until they are properly combined.
    2. After this beat in the eggs, slowly one at a time.
    3. Now look or mix the flour using the baker’s ammonia or baking powdered, cinnamon, salt, cardamom, and cloves.
    4. Then Blend this into the creamed mixture right up until a stiff dough varieties.

    6. Refrigerate this for 2 or more hours. Keeping the idea overnight is the best.
    7. Now oil plus flour a Spekulatius mould. Tap available all the excess flour after this.
    8. After that will roll a golf ball size bit of dough between your hands which are lightly floured into an egg cell shape.
    9. Press the dough on the mould and fill the many crevices.
    10. Using a sharp knife or perhaps piece of the kitchen twine block the excess dough. This way a dough will flush in to the mould.
    11. Tap the mould in the counter to release the biscuit. You can use a sharp knife to get started on the release of the cookie.
    12. Now cautiously place them on a cookie bed sheet and repeat with the rest with the dough.

    14. Now bake the item in an oven which is heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit approximately 12 minutes, or before the cookies brown slightly.
    15. You could decorate these cookies like those conventional sugar biscuits, but make sure the old-fashioned mould designs do not get overshadowed. Also, the delicate flour with the dough should not be masked.
