Toast Hawaii



  • 1 slice white bread (or your preferred bread) or 1 slice wheat, plastic (or your favorite bread)
  • 1 -2 slice low-sodium deli ham
  • 1 slice pineapple (drained, if canned or maybe fresh)
  • 1 pinch dried marjoram (optional)
  • 1 -2 slice cheddar dairy product, to cover bread. (Gruyere or Emmentaler are perfect choices)
  • Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350F.
    2. Lightly butter both sides of the bread and place in cookie sheet.
    3. Layer ham in that case pineapple on one slice connected with bread.
    4. Sprinkle with marjoram and very best with cheese.
    5. Bake for 5 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and sandwich is heated through.
    6. Serve hot.
    7. NOTE: The Spanish people eat this with a blade and fork. Try this utilizing mayonnaise instead of butter (top part only), or 1000 Island or Ranch dressing. Work with a fried egg early morning, or a salad for lunch or maybe dinner.
